Driven with compassion & envisioned by the idea of a fair & equitable society, founders of Bodhi Bahuuddeshiya Sevabhavi Sanstha (BBSS) have dedicated their entire life for the sole cause of service to Humanity. With a dream to empower the weaker sections of the society with the right skills & knowledge that will help them to lead a dignified and quality life, the founders have embarked upon a mission to fulfill this long term goal.
The diverse background of the founders has added to the vast experience pool of BBSS & enhanced the capacities of projects which the NGO undertakes. The vision and experience of Founders has helped to execute challenging projects & serve the society at large effectively.
Ramchandra Dande
Born in the rural Akola district during the Independence year, Ramchandra Dande started his educational journey full of struggles. being from extremely poverty stricken family and battling the hardships of life, he later joined the health service department in Akola. Serving needy & the deprived in the health sector he envisioned better health care for the large population that resides in the rural demographics of India.
He was famously known for implementing vaccination drives during epidemics such as Cholera, Polio & other epidemic diseases that affected the population. He was entitled as “Trainers-Trainer” in the Health sector by the Government of Maharashtra for his depth of knowledge & management skills. The contributions of Ramchandra Dande stand as inspiration for BBSS and its members to strive continuously for the society.
Adv. Nilesh Dande
Born in Akola, Adv Nilesh Dande is a qualified lawyer by Profession. His depth of legal know-how makes him unique for the BBSS. Nilesh has been serving in capacity as the Vice-Chairperson of BBSS. Although having a degree in Business Law he is widely involved in campaigns and activities concerning Human Rights.
Nilesh has also been motivating young students to take up law as career to deliver justice to the deprived and the weaker sections who cannot afford legal aid. Nilesh has been very effective in building a legal framework for the NGO and has been instrumental in facilitating legal aid to the underprivileged.
Dr. Ranjana Bhalerao
Dr. Ranjana Bhalerao born in Nanded, holds a Doctorate in Philosophy degree from the Swami Ramananda Teerth Marathwada University of Nanded. Dr. Ranjana currently serves as Secretary in the BBSS. Her wide area of knowledge and experience in the social services has helped to create an everlasting impact on a large scale. She has helped in transforming lives & livelihood of women & children belonging to the weaker sections through innovative ideas.
Dr. Ranjana is passionate about activities that enhance knowledge building & skill development through means of training. She has been diligently working on Entrepreneurship & Skill development programs to impact livelihood of women who have lost support of the family & are completely on their own. Dr. Ranjana believes that women hold the key to empower & transform societies at large.
Nitin Dande
Nitin Dande born in Akola, completed his Master’s in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management from Nagpur and Diploma in Labor Law from Aurangabad. He has great people skills & is excellent in public communications. He serves in the capacity of Treasurer in the BBSS. His close observations about the poor living conditions of Laborers and their families pushed the BBSS to identify areas of improvement for these sections.
Nitin also counsels for cases of Domestic Violence and Drug abuse coming mostly from poverty-stricken families and financially deprived sections. Nitin conducts workshops for the slum kids and motivates them for pursuing higher education in their life. Nitin also supervises the Technical education wing of the Samyak Junior College run by the BBSS.
